Pulse PR was delighted to support the launch of Hopp Belfast, a new sustainable e-bike sharing service bringing a fresh approach to urban transport in the city.
Working with Belfast entrepreneur Brendan Boyd and the team behind Hopp Belfast, Pulse PR developed and delivered the PR campaign to introduce the new service, highlighting the investment, entrepreneurial journey and wider economic impact behind the launch.
With a £250,000 investment, an initial fleet of more than 100 electric bikes and the creation of local jobs, Hopp Belfast represents an exciting new business story for Northern Ireland – combining sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship.
A key focus of the campaign was positioning Hopp Belfast as more than just a new transport service. Pulse PR worked to highlight Brendan’s background in sustainable energy through Aircore, his experience of seeing successful e-bike sharing models internationally, and his ambition to create a long-term Belfast business supporting cleaner and smarter ways to travel.
The PR campaign included developing key messaging, press materials, media engagement and stakeholder communications to help bring the story to life and generate awareness around the launch.
The launch also provided an opportunity to showcase how e-bike sharing is changing the way people move around cities, while highlighting Hopp’s flexible undocked model -allowing users to unlock a bike through the app, complete their journey and park responsibly in designated areas across Belfast.
It was fantastic to see strong interest in the story and to support another Belfast-founded business as it takes its first steps in the city.
